What happens at the first visit?
At your first visit we listen first: what is bothering you and what you would like to change are discussed. Then the teeth, gums and bite are examined. The treatment plan and the options are explained to you before anything starts. At our new clinic in Şanlıurfa, Dr. Ferit Çiftçi carries out the examination himself.

How does the visit start?
The visit starts with what is bothering you and what you would like to change. You will also be asked about your general health.
What is examined?
The health of the teeth and gums, existing fillings and restorations, tooth positions and the bite are examined. If there is decay or gum disease, its treatment is discussed before any aesthetic work.
Are records taken?
If they are needed for planning, additional records such as X-rays are taken. Which records are needed depends on the examination findings.
When do we talk through the options?
The treatment plan is based on the examination findings and any additional records needed. We go through the planned steps, estimated durations and options with you before starting. The type of material and why it is chosen are also explained before treatment.
Sometimes the options include protecting and monitoring oral health instead of an aesthetic procedure.
Who will you see?
Dr. Ferit Çiftçi is the clinic's only dentist, so you speak with the same person from the first visit to every check-up. In planning he considers the face, the lip line, tooth proportions and the bite together. Read about his approach.
